Aggarsain Chowk Kurukshetra

One of the oldest and famous chowk in Kuruksehtra is Aggarsain (अग्रसेन) Chowk. It is situated at the center of the City and on a main road of Kurukshetra. Distance from Pipli (at NH1) is around 2 KM. Nearby this circle there are many shops available.

This chowk represents the glory of great man Dadamuni Maharaja Aggrasen, who is known as the Founder of the Aggarwal Samaj. In the history of India, very few kings have been credited with founding new communities or societies. Maharaja Aggrasen or  Aggarsain was one such great monarch. Apart from being a great monarch, he was also the founder of a new community which is named after him as Aggarwal Samaj.
